I am so excited about this sesion for so many reasons! First of all, it is so much fun to work with a fellow photographer. This is the second time Liz and I have gotten together to practice shooting portraits and to bounce ideas and techniques off each other. What a privilege to collaborate with another creative mind!! She's helping me with my October wedding in Minneapolis and I could not be more excited! Please go check out her work - E L Photography!
Second, gosh she makes me look good! Not only is she a gorgeous, charismatic, creative, and goofy, but she knows how to pose herself in front of the camera. It makes my job SO easy! I can't even tell you how difficult it was to narrow down the images to share with you.
Third, we decided to meet up on the U of M campus - our alma mater! We'd both been wanting to shoot on campus for some time and, man, did it pay off!! We found the most amazing locations in just a few short blocks (those flowers, right?!?!). For those of you familiar with the area, we met at Rapson Hall (the architecture building), moved to the Bell Museum, and then went over to the Northrop Auditorium. There are so many other great locations between the three different campuses, that I'm sure this won't be our last photo excursion at the U of M!
I'm so looking forward to our collaboration in October and hope you come back to see the wedding images. If you haven't done so already, please be sure to 'Like' our pages on facebook so you don't miss more of what's to come!
Model status right here!
We found this amazing pathway - our own little oasis!
And the vine wall!!!! Ahh! LOVE
Her eyes are just stunning!
The next two are some of my absolute favorites!
And then we found these flowers and were in heaven!
This was such a cool architectural area!
What a way to end a session...the giant columns are breathtaking!
Thank you for looking!
